Pharmaceutical Technician

Pharmacy Hours:  Mon.-Fri. 8am to 6pm, Saturdays: 9am to 1pm, Closed Sundays and all major holidays, 15-40 hours per week, schedule to be determined.

Job Description:  Customer-oriented position involving actively engaging in the prescription entry and prescription filling process while working as a technician and cashier under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Qualifications:  Trustworthy, energetic, alert, observant, confident, clean, neatly groomed, friendly, upbeat and enthusiastic person, who is able to perform multiple tasks, follow directions, must work well as part of a team at a rapid pace, able to learn pharmaceutical product vocabulary, and must have excellent computer entry skills, excellent phone skills and money handling skills.  Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Skills:  SRS Pharmacy operating system experience, Pharmacy Technician Certification Credentials, 1 to 5 years of Prior Pharmacy Technician Experience.

Education Requirement:  High School Diploma/GED

Preferred Education:  Associates or B.S. Degree

Wage Range:  $10.00 to $15.50/hour depending on qualifications and experience.
